国内贸易及消费人事务部今天正式推介精明消费人和价格监督网站，让消费者可获取最新消费资讯，也能同时间比较不同商店的50种货品价格。


贸消部长拿督斯里依斯迈沙比里说，精明消费人网站主要是为消费人提供意见、分享资讯，以及一切非正式的消费课题。


“该部有意将此网站作为‘一站式消费人网站’，并会把其他与消费相关的网站联系一起，也希望能够通过聊天室、论坛或所设有的部落格中，吸引年轻一代关注消费课题。”


他说，有关网站的主要特点，包括展示消费贴示、消费运动、消费人选择商店、介绍消协和其他相关网站。


依斯迈沙比里今日在该部为上述两个网站主持推介礼后，这么指出。


出席者包括该部副部长拿督陈莲花、秘书长拿督再因、副秘书长道勿和玛哈妮陈。


依斯迈沙比里说，去年12月15日成立的价格监督网站，方便消费者在出门购物前，根据本身所在州属，上网比较霸市、超市和菜市内50种货品的价格。


“这网站不仅对消费人重要，对商家而言，也是其中一项提高竞争性的方法，商家在获知别的商店货品比他们便宜，也会尽量调低价格，藉以吸引消费人。”


他说，消费人不仅能够有周详的消费计划，也节省货比三家的时间。


“全国共有1600名价格监督员，每天都会监督各店面的50种货品价格，并在中午前作出报告。”


“这是该部展开的首期计划，由于许多郊外消费人可能没有互联网便利，他们可能会在第二期计划，会通过电话方式进行。”

每月接逾800宗投诉


依斯迈沙比里指出，该部每月接获约800宗通过电子作出的投诉。


他说，上述数据，未包括亲自到各州办事处投诉个的案。


“除了白米问题，他们也接获各式各样，与消费有关的投诉。”


他强调，白米是属农业部所管辖的物品，因此不是所有与消费有关的事物，都和该部有关。


“无论如何，我们仍会接受一切消费投诉，再转向给其他部门接手调查，如含有15%碎米供应问题，我们会向农业部反映。”


依斯迈沙比里说，他经常都会陪同妻子购物，因此明白一般消费人心态，比方说，一些人往往为了享有一令吉物品折扣，不惜花费比折扣价更高的交通费前往目的地。


他说，大马人喜欢购物，是公认事实，有回他在麦加问当地商家，为何懂得马来文时，对方说他有很多大马顾客，而前往的大马人也自嘲是去“丢钱”。

千萬別拿拖鞋等東西砸蟑螂！

俗話說「烏龜怕鐵鎚，蟑螂怕拖鞋。」，看到蟑螂在面前爬來爬去，若真的拿拖 鞋用力砸下去，雖可逞一時之快，卻也得承擔染上傳染病的風險，未必划算。蟑螂早已在地球上生存數億年之久，其生命力之強韌可想而知，就算殺蟲劑噴了又噴，隨時會在廚房、洗手間甚至客廳不期而遇。

台北醫學大學醫學系寄生蟲學科教授兼主任鍾文政提醒國人，「處決」蟑螂的方法 很多，可千萬別動氣而把它砸得肚破腸流。他解釋，蟑螂是筒線蟲的中間宿主，蟑 螂吃下這種寄生蟲的蟲卵後，孵化的幼蟲就在體腔內大量繁殖。一旦把蟑螂打得稀巴爛，寄生其內的筒線蟲就會趁機外竄，污染居家環境、餐具及食物，進而導致人類的感染。筒線蟲進入人體後，會寄生在舌頭、牙床、氣管及食道等口腔周圍組織及器官，不僅牙床會潰爛穿孔，舌頭還可能被鑽來鑽去的成蟲搞得不成「舌」形。

Q：我的兒子4歲，他昨天發燒和流鼻水，服用了半顆撲熱息痛藥丸後退燒，但今日再次發燒高達39.5℃，並開始咳嗽。我想問，該如何幫助兒子退燒？因為我擔心兒子會燒壞腦。

A：發燒是家庭醫生最常遇到的病症，大部分發燒的病人都希望醫生可幫助他們立刻退燒，但很少會詢問發燒的成因。

人體平均溫度約為36至37.5℃，體溫會隨著周圍的溫度而輕微改變。肛門及下陰的溫度，一般較口腔及腋下的溫度高半度左右。

大部分人發燒都是由感染引起，而這些感染都是短暫和容易診斷的。小孩及青少年容易感染感冒或流感病毒而引致上呼吸道及支氣管發炎。有時候細菌感染可以導致中耳炎、鼻竇炎或嚴重的肺部感染。

但一些不常見的情況，如發燒溫度超過38℃而持續超過兩三星期，即使醫生很詳細地檢查和測試，並沒有找到發燒的成因，這種情況稱為成因不明的發燒（Fever of undetermined origin，簡稱FUO）。據統計，四分之一的FUO病人是受到慢性感染，四分之一是因免疫系統失調引起，十分之一是因癌病引致，其餘的病人原因不明。

發燒只是病徵，並不會傷害腦部，但發燒的成因如腦膜炎或腦炎，卻可造成腦部永久傷害。高燒可引致嬰孩全身抽筋，發燒抽筋可用以下方法預防及治療﹕服用退燒藥、溫水浸浴或敷冰降溫，及治療發燒的成因等。其實找出發燒的原因及給予適當治療，溫度自然會減退。

ASPARTAME is being marketed around the world as a sugar substitute and is found in all diet soft drinks, such as Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi . It is also found in artificial sweeteners such as NutraSweet, Equal, and Spoonful; and it is used in many other products as a sugar replacement.

ASPARTAME is marketed as a diet product, but it is not a diet product at all. In fact, it will cause you to GAIN weight because it makes you crave carbohydrates. Causing you to gain weight is only a very small part of what ASPARTAME does. It is a toxic chemical that changes the brain's chemistry. It can and does cause severe seizures.

This chemical changes the dopamine level in the brain, and it is particularly deadly for anyone suffering from Parkinson's disease.

ASPARTAME is extremely poisonous, and here is why one of the toxic ingredients of it is wood alcohol. When the temperature of

ASPARTAME exceeds 86 degrees F, the wood alcohol in it is converted to Formaldehyde, and then to formic acid, which in turn causes folic acidosis.

FORMALDEHYDE is grouped in the same class of poisons as Cyanide and Arsenic which are very deadly toxins. The only difference is, Formaldehyde kills quietly, and it takes a little longer.
